Available in an array of gorgeous full grain, vegetable tanned leather imported from Tuscany's famous Leather District. We source exclusively from member tanneries of Consorzio vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale (the Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium in Italy), which regulates, preserves, and guarantees the production of vegetable-tanned leather made in Tuscany. These premier tanneries produce some of the highest quality leather in the world; these vegetable tanned leathers are renowned for beautiful aging - deepening in color and developing patina with time and use. Our leather is untreated - we don't use harsh chemicals or finishes - this allows the color to age naturally, but it makes it more prone to stains; darker colors are recommended for companions who live for a good mud puddle sesh.
