Black leather is full grain, Italian Vachetta leather, a specialty vegetable tanned leather; purple leather is full grain Italian vegetable tanned leather, tanned with naturally derived tannins (and no harsh chemicals). All leather is sourced from member tanneries of the exclusive Pelle Vegetale Consortium in Tuscany.
Hardware:
Buckle, D-ring, and tag ring are solid brass with nickel plating.
